Business Travel Market 2012

Hotel Desk information on Business Travel Market

Still only a fledgling exhibition, having only launched in 2009,  Business Travel Market is fast becoming a key event for business travel buyers.  One unique aspect of the event is the fully hosted buyer programme for corporate travel buyers (those spending over €300,000 per annum).

The exhibition itself aims at providing quality rather than quantity to both the exhibitors and sponsors with just 100 or so exhibitors and around 3,500 attendees.  The hosted buyer programme turns the normal exhibition walk-around into a full networking event with pre-approved meetings taking place throughout the day.

Clearly the exhibitors are coming to Business Travel Market to find new customers, and the visitors to look for new suppliers. But the event seems to go beyond that and it becomes two days of high level, first class networking.  As well as locating a great new supplier or customer you will learn about and share the latest best practices, and make new business contacts.  All this in a very relaxed and informal setting.

Exhibition Dates

  • 13-14 June, 2012 – ExCel London

Travel & Hotels for Next Top Model Live

There are only a few hotels near ExCel London and they tend to be a little pricey and normally full of the exhibitors and organisers.  Other options would be to stay in Canary Wharf, Greenwich, Stratford or even central London.  There are such great transport links across to the docklands that you could stay in a hotel near the Tower of London.  You would then just be a short train ride from the exhibition centre.

The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is the best way to reach the exhibition centre. It is though also easy to reach by car too as it is outside of central London and there are plenty of car park spaces.
