Representatives from hotels, conference centres, and event organisers are just a few of people you would meet at the exhibition.
The show takes place in at Messe Frankfurt in May each year and attracts 3,500 exhibitors and then a further 9,000 visitors. In 2011 over 57,000 appointments were scheduled to take place during the show, proving that it is truly a business focused and efficient trade show for the industry.
In addition to the many exhibitors to meet there is also a first class seminar programme. A great opportunity to hear some of the top movers in the industry. With this in mind, if you are only attending for one day then we would recommend checking the schedule of seminars before booking.
If you are a visitor to the show then be aware that the organisers do offer a hosted buyer programme. This is where your flights and hotel costs are covered by sponsoring travel companies. Check to see if you qualify as a hosted buyer with the organisers before paying for the trip yourself.

Travel & Hotels for IMEX
Frankfurt has a wide range of hotels in the city, with the central ones being just a 15-20 min walk to Messe Frankfurt or a short tram ride. As you would expect, Frankfurt hotels cover all budgets and standards so there will be something for everyone. German efficiency is on show with the transport system where the tram, bus, train and airport are all interconnected and work smoothly.
If you are in town for a few days then consider purchasing the Frankfurt Card. This will will save you money on travel, restaurants, and entry into a number of museums and other tourist sites.
